The RLABA is putting together a membership directory. Engle Publishing will be producing the brochure, call Susan Pilgrim for more information and to get your business included, 717-653-1833 ext 7513
Member Advertising (Running Monthly)
The RLABA has a 4 page insert in the Weekly Record the last Wednesday of each month. It will have Events and activities that members are having, information about the community, history from the Red Lion and Dallastown Historical Societies. TCA Train Show and Red Lion Downtown Event (starting ~4/15/2009)
For three nights in April come to downtown Red Lion for an open house by the The Red Lion Area Historical Society and the Red Lion Train Station Model Railroaders. Many local businesses will be open extended hours and have special events as well!
Community Outreach – Feet on the Street (starting ~5/1/2009)
The Red Lion Area Business Association (RLABA) has sponsored a community oriented project called “Feet on the Street”. This pilot project introduced a police officer from York Area Regional Police (YARPD) to the downtown district of Red Lion Borough in 2009. This year the program will be expanded to include Dallastown as well! The officer will patrol at various times during the week for a three month period beginning in May and ending in July.
Community Outreach – Scholarships (starting ~5/1/2009)
The association has been expanding its community outreach projects. Awards to local High School seniors are being considered as well as donations of time and money to various nonprofit groups throughout the year. In May the association will be looking for a local High School student to award a scholarship.
Red Lion Street Fair (starting 8/14/2009)
This RLABA project gives residents the opportunity to relax, support local businesses, get involved with Arts and Crafts, check out some local entertainment, eat a few new foods, and have a good time!

Holiday Craft & Antique Tour (starting ~11/28/2009)
To kick off the holiday season, the association will be cosponsoring a sales event featuring local craft stores, antique shops, restaurants and other local retail businesses.
